Mapping and GPS – Our Technology
In addition to CIPS Marketing’s independent audits, our organization has made a significant investment in building out a highly customized interactive GPS tracking and mapping system designed specifically for this industry. This includes the latest GPS hardware, GPS software, server technology and mapping capabilities.
GPS tracking uses the latest in Motorola technology to capture GPS coordinates of its field personnel about every 20 seconds. Each GPS coordinate is stamped with the exact date and time and passed to our online servers. Our online servers are fully interactive with our back office software systems to merge route information, geo-fencing, job volumes, quality control data and customer data into one of the most advanced real-time tracking systems on the market. What makes this system so unique is CIPS Marketing has made this information customer accessible for complete transparency.
How it Works
Each driver and their teams are being monitored as they enter the geo-fence of a particular route/job, the time in which they are in that geo-fence and when they leave. Graphically, CIPS Marketing and their users can see progress being made in real-time going up and down the streets of the denoted area.
We are also capturing statistics on driver speed, stopping and start times, units being delivered per minute/per hour, etc. This includes GPS coordinate to address conversion.
Routes/Jobs every day are backed up by a separate team of quality control experts who operate independently of our drivers. These individuals are also tracked the same way via GPS but are also making real-time qualitative and quantitative assessments of the effectiveness of the drivers in which they are evaluating.
Quality control personnel and driver personnel can be mapped as an overlay to provide full proof of performance to our customers. This includes multiple features such as user definable color coding to differentiate drivers from quality control personnel.
Quality control assessments are calculated by a weighted value system combining DND Effectiveness (do not deliver errors), Placement Effectiveness and Address Verification Effectiveness.
This drives an overall effectiveness of each driver. This is then used for feedback to drivers, trend analysis and overall a methodology to continue to make improvements with organization. All data collected each day is calculated and displayed on a comprehensive dashboard for further trend analysis.
