CIPS Marketing continues to make significant investments into their proprietary order management system, allowing management to control and direct all activities from accounting, operations, GPS verification and invoicing. Now managing more than 500 million pieces of advertising collateral per year, CIPS Marketing is now well positioned for expansion on a national scale.
Additionally, CIPS Marketing has fully automated its packaging process using the most state of the art insertion equipment. This includes Kirk-Rudy KR600 Series inserters with automated stacking.

This new equipment has offered CIPS Marketing a wide array of features and capabilities to substantially improve or internal production in both reliability and throughput. Utilizing the latest PLC controls and innovative mechanical systems, the KR 600 series has now become one of the better mid to higher end automation systems on the market. This handles most insert types using a combination of interchangeable rotary and shuttle feeders. This “on the fly” control of insert delivery has resulted in more consistent inserting and a higher throughput.
The PLC based control system monitors package integrity through a series of electronic “eyes” at each insert station. New features such as pocket priority and backup ensure critical inserts are never missed. The PC interface is ideally suited for applications that require frequent and rapid changeover.
Stacks are output according to preset counts. An in-line divert gate ensures accuracy by removing purged and non-printed mail pieces. This investment, and others like it, will continue to drive CIPS Marketing to the forefront of the industry.
